Communitysoulbook: The company that is building its headquarters with used tires and cans

Article published in Communitysoulbook about the evolution of the construction of Utopia Building, on October 15, 2015.

"The Utopia project is the dream of Plako, a software development company that decided to create its own workplace using sustainable and environmentally friendly techniques. About two thousand tires were reused to make the walls and 11,000 cans are now being applied as an air gap between the tire spaces. "The main objective is to show that you don't have to be a big company to opt for a project like this," says Plako's manager, Moisés Campos, adding that the work should be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2016."
