OSB panels from Sonae Indústria fill the roof of Utopia!

The 74 OSB panels were fixed on the wooden beams, covering the entire roof. These will be a structuring part for the reception of the PVC screen, used cork stoppers (as a drainage system) and soil for the plants.

The OSB consists of 3 layers of large sized wood chips, bonded using resins and oriented in a particular direction.

It is a versatile product and "friendly" to the environment, as it is made of small-sized wood, originating from ecologically sustainable forests and is fully recyclable, it contributes to the sustainable use of forest resources, and promotes a better use of woody resources, the materials not usable in the production of the panels are used to generate the energy necessary for the production process of this material.
